Canal is an important habitat for aquatic creatures (Ishikawa)


When it is warm season, we can see many crayfishes and mud snails at the canal flows through the field in front of the university. It has been known that there are many aquatic creatures in canal flowing through field. But now, a lot of rubbish have been thrown away in several places of that canal. Dumping rubbish causes not only spoiling beautiful scenery but also pollution of water quality. If water is polluted, fishes are sensitive to environmental situation will lost their habitat. I do not know why some people do that. Dumping rubbish in canal intentionally is an illegal dumping. This is a crime. I hope many people consider their behavior for other creatures.

暖かい時期には大学の前の圃場を流れる水路でたくさんのタニシやザリガニを見ることができます。農地を流れる水路には多くの生物が生息しているのです。しかし草木に隠れて周囲から見えづらいような所には多くのゴミが投棄されています。水路等へのゴミの投棄は美しい景観を損なうだけでなく、水質の汚染にもつながります。水が汚染されれば、環境条件に敏感な魚類等は住処を失ってしまいます。どうしてこのようなことをするのでしょうか。ちなみに水路や河川に意図的にゴミを捨てるのは不法投棄に当たります。これは犯罪です。多くの人が身の回りの生き物のことを考えて行動してくれることを願います。

Locust as a source of food and feed (Rahima)

I came across a pack of roasted locusts at the store the other day and decided to check their nutritional value and study a bit more about them. Locusts are a type of insect from the family Acrididae . They are known to swarm in huge numbers and can travel great distances, causing considerable damage to crops. However, in many African, Middle Eastern, and Asian countries, locusts are considered a delicacy and eaten in abundance. Locusts are an excellent source of protein and contain a variety of fatty acids and minerals. Although not considered palatable by most Americans and Europeans, locusts are an important food source in many other countries.   According to the book "Insects" by Steve Parker, species of locusts vary in protein content from about 50 percent of dry weight to almost 60 percent, making them denser in protein than cows . Full vaccination（Sagae）

We some of the lab members had second vaccination at university. It was so hard situation for me because of side effects. I had heard some news that the side effects of the second vaccine are more serious. It was TRUE. The night after the vaccine, started to increase my body temperature. At midnight temperature already reached 38.5 ℃. And also my bone has pain and "Moderna arm". I could only lay on the bed the whole day by agony. My fever continues till next midnight. I thought my fever had gone down, but then I started to have terrible headaches. Again I spent the time on the bed the whole day. Finally, I recovered fully after 60 hours of vaccination. It was the worst experience in 2021 at least. I wish our painfulness contributes to making the situation better. 大学で二回目のワクチン接種を受けました。結論から言うと、副反応が本当きつかったです。二回目は一回目より副反応がきついと聞いていましたが、その通りです。接種日の夜から熱が上がり始めて、夜中には38.5℃に達しました。きつすぎてベッドに横になる事しかできません。全身の関節は痛むし、モデルナアームも発症しています。次の夜中は明朝まで高熱は続きました。熱が下がったと思ったら次はひどい頭痛です。またベットから動けず一日を過ごします。最終的
