canal research (Saito)

Recently, It become cold in tsuruoka city. According to weather forecast, It will be snow in this weekend. We will research this canal to know what lives in this canal. This canal research is same previous Ishikawa san wrote. When we planed research there are a lot of weed. Now many of weed are dead. I think it makes easy to research. But I afraid the low temperature effect to the result. Actually, snails can see in autumn season. These days I went to canal I can’t find. However, look at from another perspective, I can research before snow piles up. I think that is interesting for me.


最近は気温が下がって今週末などは鶴岡付近でも雪が降るのではないかといわれています。今回は何の生物がここに住んでいるのかを調べる予定です。以前に石川さんが書いてくれた水路での調査です。調査地点も計画していた当初は草が生い茂っていましたが今はほとんどが枯れています。調査をするうえではやりやすくなったのでその点はうれしいのですが、寒くなってくると生物が移動するので結果に大きく影響するのではないかと少し心配もしています。しかしながら、それはそれで雪が積もる前の状況を調査できるので面白そうだと思っています。

Locust as a source of food and feed (Rahima)

I came across a pack of roasted locusts at the store the other day and decided to check their nutritional value and study a bit more about them. Locusts are a type of insect from the family Acrididae . They are known to swarm in huge numbers and can travel great distances, causing considerable damage to crops. However, in many African, Middle Eastern, and Asian countries, locusts are considered a delicacy and eaten in abundance. Locusts are an excellent source of protein and contain a variety of fatty acids and minerals. Although not considered palatable by most Americans and Europeans, locusts are an important food source in many other countries.   According to the book "Insects" by Steve Parker, species of locusts vary in protein content from about 50 percent of dry weight to almost 60 percent, making them denser in protein than cows . Full vaccination（Sagae）

We some of the lab members had second vaccination at university. It was so hard situation for me because of side effects. I had heard some news that the side effects of the second vaccine are more serious. It was TRUE. The night after the vaccine, started to increase my body temperature. At midnight temperature already reached 38.5 ℃. And also my bone has pain and "Moderna arm". I could only lay on the bed the whole day by agony. My fever continues till next midnight. I thought my fever had gone down, but then I started to have terrible headaches. Again I spent the time on the bed the whole day. Finally, I recovered fully after 60 hours of vaccination. It was the worst experience in 2021 at least. I wish our painfulness contributes to making the situation better. 大学で二回目のワクチン接種を受けました。結論から言うと、副反応が本当きつかったです。二回目は一回目より副反応がきついと聞いていましたが、その通りです。接種日の夜から熱が上がり始めて、夜中には38.5℃に達しました。きつすぎてベッドに横になる事しかできません。全身の関節は痛むし、モデルナアームも発症しています。次の夜中は明朝まで高熱は続きました。熱が下がったと思ったら次はひどい頭痛です。またベットから動けず一日を過ごします。最終的
