Lockdown again(Saito)

 


Becoming new year, the number of people infected COVID virus is increasing in japan. So, regulation from Yamagata university is changed to take measures that situation. Lecture with using zoom had been started from Last May until October. After October, university restarted usual lecture. But becoming this year university decided student cannot enter the university without some exception and almost all lectures were conducted by zoom. So, this situation is like first semester. But we can see some improvement like we can use desk in library (Previously, we have to stand reading because there were no available chair and desk). And we can see lectures go smoothly. It passed about 1 year from COVIT virus was discovered. I think we are becoming to adapt to this life style.


新年に入り全国的にはコロナウイルス感染者数が増え、学校のコロナウイルスに対する対策も昨年のものから変化ました。去年は5月からzoomでの授業が始まり、10月から対面授業に戻りました。ですが今年１月からはzoomを使った遠隔授業になり基本的には大学の立ち入りも禁止になり、前期と似た状態になりました。今回の学校の対応は図書館の机が使えたり（前期はコロナ対策のため椅子に座れず立ち読みするしかなかった）前回から改良されているところがありました。さらに、zoomでの授業もスムーズに進んでいる現状を見て、コロナウイルスが発見されてから約1年が経過してこの生活にずいぶん慣れてきているなぁと思いました。

Locust as a source of food and feed (Rahima)

I came across a pack of roasted locusts at the store the other day and decided to check their nutritional value and study a bit more about them. Locusts are a type of insect from the family Acrididae . They are known to swarm in huge numbers and can travel great distances, causing considerable damage to crops. However, in many African, Middle Eastern, and Asian countries, locusts are considered a delicacy and eaten in abundance. Locusts are an excellent source of protein and contain a variety of fatty acids and minerals. Although not considered palatable by most Americans and Europeans, locusts are an important food source in many other countries.   According to the book "Insects" by Steve Parker, species of locusts vary in protein content from about 50 percent of dry weight to almost 60 percent, making them denser in protein than cows . Full vaccination（Sagae）

We some of the lab members had second vaccination at university. It was so hard situation for me because of side effects. I had heard some news that the side effects of the second vaccine are more serious. It was TRUE. The night after the vaccine, started to increase my body temperature. At midnight temperature already reached 38.5 ℃. And also my bone has pain and "Moderna arm". I could only lay on the bed the whole day by agony. My fever continues till next midnight. I thought my fever had gone down, but then I started to have terrible headaches. Again I spent the time on the bed the whole day. Finally, I recovered fully after 60 hours of vaccination. It was the worst experience in 2021 at least. I wish our painfulness contributes to making the situation better. 大学で二回目のワクチン接種を受けました。結論から言うと、副反応が本当きつかったです。二回目は一回目より副反応がきついと聞いていましたが、その通りです。接種日の夜から熱が上がり始めて、夜中には38.5℃に達しました。きつすぎてベッドに横になる事しかできません。全身の関節は痛むし、モデルナアームも発症しています。次の夜中は明朝まで高熱は続きました。熱が下がったと思ったら次はひどい頭痛です。またベットから動けず一日を過ごします。最終的
