ODOKON PRESENTATION (ARYA)

 Last week I participated with Odokon conference. In the conference I did presentation about my research with title “Winter abundance of freshwater snail and other aquatic organism in Irrigation canals”. My research showed about the environmental factor influence the three species of freshwater snail abundance (Bellamya chinensis, Semisulcospira libertina and Physa acuta). The abundance and distribution were varied for all species of the snails in first year of winter and second year. Presence of mud and water become key factor. Based on my result showed freshwater snails could improve the biodiversity. This is very interesting to study more about it, I hope lot of people also interest about it.

先週、私はオドコン会議に参加しました。 会議では、「灌漑用水路における淡水カタツムリやその他の水生生物の冬の豊富さ」というタイトルで自分の研究について発表しました。 私の研究では、環境要因が3種の淡水カタツムリの生息数に影響を与えることが示されました（Bellamya chinensis、Semisulcospira libertina、Physa acuta）。 冬の1年目と2年目には、カタツムリのすべての種でその存在量と分布が変化しました。 泥と水の存在が重要な要素になります。 私の結果に基づいて、淡水カタツムリは生物多様性を改善できることが示されました。 これについてもっと勉強するのはとても面白いです。多くの人も興味を持ってくれることを願っています。

Locust as a source of food and feed (Rahima)

I came across a pack of roasted locusts at the store the other day and decided to check their nutritional value and study a bit more about them. Locusts are a type of insect from the family Acrididae . They are known to swarm in huge numbers and can travel great distances, causing considerable damage to crops. However, in many African, Middle Eastern, and Asian countries, locusts are considered a delicacy and eaten in abundance. Locusts are an excellent source of protein and contain a variety of fatty acids and minerals. Although not considered palatable by most Americans and Europeans, locusts are an important food source in many other countries.   According to the book "Insects" by Steve Parker, species of locusts vary in protein content from about 50 percent of dry weight to almost 60 percent, making them denser in protein than cows . Full vaccination（Sagae）

We some of the lab members had second vaccination at university. It was so hard situation for me because of side effects. I had heard some news that the side effects of the second vaccine are more serious. It was TRUE. The night after the vaccine, started to increase my body temperature. At midnight temperature already reached 38.5 ℃. And also my bone has pain and "Moderna arm". I could only lay on the bed the whole day by agony. My fever continues till next midnight. I thought my fever had gone down, but then I started to have terrible headaches. Again I spent the time on the bed the whole day. Finally, I recovered fully after 60 hours of vaccination. It was the worst experience in 2021 at least. I wish our painfulness contributes to making the situation better. 大学で二回目のワクチン接種を受けました。結論から言うと、副反応が本当きつかったです。二回目は一回目より副反応がきついと聞いていましたが、その通りです。接種日の夜から熱が上がり始めて、夜中には38.5℃に達しました。きつすぎてベッドに横になる事しかできません。全身の関節は痛むし、モデルナアームも発症しています。次の夜中は明朝まで高熱は続きました。熱が下がったと思ったら次はひどい頭痛です。またベットから動けず一日を過ごします。最終的
