Reproduction around you (Sato)

 My house is very close to rice paddy fields. It takes just like 5 min by walk. Not only paddy fields but also the Akagawa river, the main river in Tsuruoka. If you are lucky you can see the Sakuramasu, Cherry salmon, which is the official symbol of fish of our prefecture, swimming together with their partner at this time of the year, i.e. full of cherry blossom. I often do online working on those days, well this is what we lab members do the same, due to the covid19, and this makes me go to the paddy field often for a break. Those, makes me remember that it is also a good time for them, a couple of craneflies, for reproduction. I really love this environment around my residence.

最近はちょいちょいと田んぼに行きます。オンラインで仕事をすることが多いので、その合間、ちょっとした休憩に。歩いて5分、いや、もっとかからないかな。暖かくなってきた昨今、ほんといろいろ出てきた。そうそう、ガガンボの繁殖の時期なんだよねぇ、今は。こういうのが気軽にいつでも見れるってのは、いや、ほんと幸せなことです。海の近くもいいんだけどねぇ。加茂に住もうとも考えたことがあったけど、釣りばっかりして仕事しなくなりそうだから、やめたんだっけ。
