Wonderful organic farming(Ishikawa)

 

I had a opportunity I listened organic farmer(I call him Mr. O ) story in laboratory work. Today, Mr. O grow many kinds of crop without agricultural chemicals and chemical fertilizer. Fertilizer Mr. O uses is bokashi fertilizer. It is organic fertilizer include remain of edamame, rice bran, rice husk charcoal and so on. Weed are also included in bokashi. It is wonderful！In the past, he used herbicide in paddy field. But today, he is using paper mulch and machine for measures against weed. He said it is important to make sludgy layer in paddy field. It inhibit growth of weed.

研究室活動で有機農家の方(以下、Oさん)の話を聞ける機会がありました。Oさんは現在化学農薬も化学肥料も使わないでたくさんの種類の作物を栽培しています。Oさんが使っている肥料はぼかし肥料です。枝豆の残差や米ぬか、燻炭などを混ぜた有機肥料です。雑草も入れたりしているそうです。雑草も肥料にしてしまうなんてすごいですね！昔は水田に除草剤を使っていたそうです。しかし今は紙マルチを使用したり、機械で除草をしたりして対策を取っているそうです。水田の土はトロトロ層にしてあげることも重要だと言っていました。それによって雑草の生育が妨げられるのです。

Locust as a source of food and feed (Rahima)

I came across a pack of roasted locusts at the store the other day and decided to check their nutritional value and study a bit more about them. Locusts are a type of insect from the family Acrididae . They are known to swarm in huge numbers and can travel great distances, causing considerable damage to crops. However, in many African, Middle Eastern, and Asian countries, locusts are considered a delicacy and eaten in abundance. Locusts are an excellent source of protein and contain a variety of fatty acids and minerals. Although not considered palatable by most Americans and Europeans, locusts are an important food source in many other countries.   According to the book "Insects" by Steve Parker, species of locusts vary in protein content from about 50 percent of dry weight to almost 60 percent, making them denser in protein than cows . Full vaccination（Sagae）

We some of the lab members had second vaccination at university. It was so hard situation for me because of side effects. I had heard some news that the side effects of the second vaccine are more serious. It was TRUE. The night after the vaccine, started to increase my body temperature. At midnight temperature already reached 38.5 ℃. And also my bone has pain and "Moderna arm". I could only lay on the bed the whole day by agony. My fever continues till next midnight. I thought my fever had gone down, but then I started to have terrible headaches. Again I spent the time on the bed the whole day. Finally, I recovered fully after 60 hours of vaccination. It was the worst experience in 2021 at least. I wish our painfulness contributes to making the situation better. 大学で二回目のワクチン接種を受けました。結論から言うと、副反応が本当きつかったです。二回目は一回目より副反応がきついと聞いていましたが、その通りです。接種日の夜から熱が上がり始めて、夜中には38.5℃に達しました。きつすぎてベッドに横になる事しかできません。全身の関節は痛むし、モデルナアームも発症しています。次の夜中は明朝まで高熱は続きました。熱が下がったと思ったら次はひどい頭痛です。またベットから動けず一日を過ごします。最終的
